Three ways to impress with point of purchase

Point-of-purchase (POP) displays are designed to catch a shopper’s eye, particularly at the place where payment is made. These displays allow products to be prominently positioned and thereby increase the probability the product will stand-out and be purchased.
POP displays come in many styles and can be used in windows, on counters, suspended from the wall or ceiling. They may also be placed strategically on the floor, and in open and closed display cases.
Three considerations for your point-of-purchase displays are:
1. Make it relevant – Grab the attention of shoppers by promoting new products, highlighting special offers, and capitalizing on special events, such as holidays.
2. Make it interesting – Showcase your products with bright colours and graphics that contrast with their surroundings so they’re most likely to be noticed.
3. Switch it up – To be most effective, keep displays evolving. Once a customer has seen a display a few times, they tend to ignore it. Keep the shopper’s interest by rearranging or changing the display regularly.
